Not only does Aliya create these beautiful works of art for sale, she also shares her arts & craft with others, by conducting community-based workshops for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Through this vehicle, she assists others in discovering what they too can accomplish.
WORKSHOPS
The art of paper crafting includes quilling, embossing, 3D decoupage, stamping, etc. Experimenting with different techniques in order to execute various designs is a favourite of those who have taken part. The results have been amazing, creating one-off bespoke cards, using various tools and technique in creating work of art through manipulating paper.
Workshops are conducted on a one-off, weekly, monthly, term-long and residential basis. All workshops can be adapted to any theme. A minimum of hour and half is required for all work shops
Depending on the specific theme, a variety of different materials and tools will be required and discussed prior to the actual workshop. However, if scissors, glue, pencils, scrap paper and paper trimmers are provided in advance, it is appreciated.
The workshops focus on celebratory card making and keepsakes, with the goal of providing a memorable high-quality creative experience. It has proven very successful; experimenting with different techniques in order to execute various designs is a favourite of those who have taken part. The results have been amazing.
Aliya introduces the various methods of designing through her own work, demonstrating the endless possibilities, which is very inspiring for many. This is especially true for those who have never had the opportunity to express themselves in a creative manner.
